Here, I would like to take a look at the top ten android phones in India at 2014. Smartphone’s gains popularity as they made friendship with the android. The main reason is millions of apps that are available on play store by just one click. It's not the only reason also so many other things that boost up the Smartphone’s market. Last year we see the upsurge of the Microsoft's windows phones and at the same time the fall of iPhone, Nokia and BlackBerry in Indian marketSmartphone’s with advanced features but suits to our budget makes the Indian market get heated up. Here are some of them that challenge the market in 2014.

One Plus One

It is one of the popular Smartphone that comes in a affordable price, offers good performance with a high-end display and a better integration of hardware.

Key features

  • 5.5 inch display
  • 3100 mah battery
  • 13Mp primary camera (Dual LED and Auto focus)
  • Android 4.4.2 kit Kat (upgradable to 4.4.4)
  • 3GB RAM, 16 & 14GB storage

All of these pros some other limitation is that they provided a non removal battery, no FM also memory card is not supported.

Asus Zenfone 6

Phone comes with an incredible responsive touch display and a good battery backup. A fact that it’s more apt if you are a game lover or you liked to own a large display mobile with a low price then you can for this and a better part is that it supports Dual SIM.

Key features

  • 6 inch full HD display
  • 1.6 GHz Dual core Intel atom
  • 4.3 jelly bean OS (upgradable to 4.4.2 Kit Kat)
  • 13Mp camera (Auto focus and LED Flash) and 2 Mp secondary camera
  • 2GB RAM
  • 3300 mah battery

But a low pixel per inch (ppi) up to 245 for a 6 inch display which is not sounds good also the phone has a non removal battery.

HTC One M8

Phone mostly eyes on Selfie lovers and a Dual front facing speaker which gives a good musical experience. A high ppi up to 441 for a 5 inch display which is something nice.

Key features

  • 5 inch full HD display
  • 2.5 GHz Quad core Snapdragon
  • Android 4.4.2 (upgradable to V.5 Lollipop)
  • 5Mp front facing Camera, 2GB RAM
  • 16 and 32 GB storage
  • 2600mah battery

For a 2600mah battery, its doubt that it can give enough back up compared to their hardware specification. Also even its 4Mp Dual camera it’s difficult to compete with other Smartphones.

Sony Xperia Z3

Xperia delivers high-sound resolution to the headphones and its IP68 certified to water and dust proof. Also it has a splendid high resolution primary camera.

Key features

  • 5.2 inch full HD display
  • 3100 mah battery
  • Android OS 4.4.4 (Also can taste lollipop)
  • 2.5 GHz Quad core Snapdragon 801 processor
  • 3GB RAM,16 or 32 GB
  • 20.7 Mp camera and 2.2 Mp secondary camera

Most of the xperia phone comes with a non removal battery here also the situation is not different.

Moto G2

Moto G2 seems to a budget phone with average features. But it has a corning gorilla glass 3 for scratch proof, good camera quality and a Dual front facing speaker.

Key features

  • 5 inch display (294 ppi)
  • 1.2 GHz Quad core Snapdragon 400
  • Android 4.4.4 kit Kat (Also can taste lollipop)
  • 1GB RAM and 8GB internal
  • 2070mah battery
  • 8 Mp camera and 2Mp secondary camera

But battery life is just average and a non removal type.

Galaxy Note 4

Good screen quality comes in a Super AMOLED Display and fast charging. Battery gives back up for moderate heavy usage.

Key features

  • 5.7 Inch super AMOLED Display
  • 2.7 GHz Quad core Snapdragon 805
  • Android OS 4.4.4 (Also can taste lollipop)
  • 3GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory
  • 16Mp camera and 3.7Mp secondary camera
  • 3220mah battery

It's seems to a just an updated version of galaxy S3 and they still don't go for a water proof and dust proof certification that we loved to see in it.

LG G3

Made with a very high quality IPS display ie...up to 538 ppi. Better Battery backup and wireless charging.

Key features

  • 5.5 inch true HD display
  • 2.5GHz Quad core Snapdragon 801
  • Android OS 4.4.2 Kit Kat (Also can taste lollipop)
  • 13Mp camera and 2.1 secondary camera
  • 3000mah Battery

But app installation is limited to 3GB even if 32GB internal memory is available.

Phone builds in a premium look which supports dual SIM and excellent display and have a good camera function.

Key features

  • 2.5GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 801
  • 4000 mah battery
  • Android OS 4.4.2
  • 3GB RAM, 32GB Internal memory
  • 16Mp camera and 5 Mp primary camera

Non Removal battery doesn't seems a problem here. As it has a mammoth battery backup of 4000mah and another thing is that second SIM slot not support 3G signal.

Huawei Honor 6

It's somewhat a budget phone if you go for a new customized Hisilicon Kirin 920 chipset with dual SIM ( also available in single SIM) support and good battery life. Also its antenna is better for strong signal detection and a good resolution front facing camera.

Key features

  • 5 inch full HD Display
  • Android OS 4.4.2
  • 13Mp camera and 5Mp secondary camera
  • 1.7 GHz Octa core processor
  • 3100mah battery
  • 3GB RAM and 16 or 32GB internal

But it has a customized Huawei own user interface and comes with a non removal battery type.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha

It's very comfortable for one hand usage with elegant design and light weighed. It’s also had a good resolution camera.

Key features

  • 4.7 inch Super AMOLED Display
  • 1.8 and 1.6GHz Quad Core Processor
  • 1860 mah battery
  • Android OS 4.4.4 (Also can taste Lollipop)
  • 2GB RAM, 32GB Internal
  • 12 Mp camera and 2.1 Mp secondary camera

But the price is not affordable as compared to their features. Battery backup is poor and no memory card slot.
